Pitch Fox is operated by Keymaker Technologies LLC. Use of the iOS app is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. This page explains the app’s service and subscription information; it does not replace Apple’s standard EULA or limit rights you have under applicable consumer law.
App access
Free lessons and on-device practice work without an account. Pro access requires an active App Store subscription. An optional Apple account enables progress backup and public leaderboards. Keep nicknames appropriate and free of personal information belonging to other people. Do not abuse account services, manipulate scores or interfere with service security.
Pitch Fox provides music education. Ear-test scores describe performance on these exercises, not a medical hearing assessment or a guarantee of a particular musical outcome.
Subscriptions and offers
The app and Apple’s purchase confirmation display the actual plan duration, localized price, any eligible introductory offer and renewal price before purchase. Prices and availability depend on your storefront. A trial or discounted first period is available only when shown and when Apple confirms eligibility. Do not assume an offer applies to a previously subscribed account.
Payment is charged to your Apple account at purchase confirmation, or when a displayed free trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period. A displayed first-year discount renews at the disclosed regular annual price afterward. Cancel before a trial ends to avoid the following paid period. Any unused trial portion may be forfeited when purchasing a subscription, where applicable.
Manage or cancel through Apple subscription settings. Cancellation generally stops the next renewal; access continues through the period Apple confirms. Refunds are handled by Apple under its rules and applicable law: request a refund. Use Settings → Restore purchases with the Apple account used for the purchase to restore eligible access.
Deleting an app or a Pitch Fox account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate steps.
Lesson content and licenses
Original Pitch Fox scripts, diagrams, videos and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Your app access permits personal use under Apple’s EULA; it does not grant permission to redistribute our original videos or branding. Rights allowed by applicable law remain available.
Third-party instrument samples and production tools have their own licenses. Those licenses govern their respective material and are not overridden by this page. See credits and license notices. No third-party endorsement is implied.
Accounts and service availability
Cloud backup, leaderboards and streaming require a working connection. Keep an independent device backup when appropriate. Lesson media may be cached temporarily; offline video availability is not guaranteed. We may update lessons and app features, and services may be interrupted for maintenance or failures. Apple’s EULA and mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.
